Before you dive into all the crafty goodness, here’s the (slightly boring but super important) stuff you should know. We’ll keep it light—promise!
1. The Basics
This site is lovingly run by the team at Unwind Co. When we say “we,” “us,” or “our,” that’s who we mean. By using this site and buying a box, you’re agreeing to play by the rules laid out here. Sound fair? Great. Let’s keep going!
2. What We Do
We create, curate, and sell DIY creative projects for which we deliver to you as a complete kit of a few crafty projects + supplies + instructions + some extra self care goodies all packed into an Unwind box. We’ve created something we wish existed—a way to rediscover creativity, without the overwhelm. Each Unwind box delivers everything you need to try a few new hands-on crafts, whether it’s embroidery, painting, or something you’ve never thought to try. No screens, no pressure, no perfection. Just a little time for you.
Everything is made with love by us and the female founders we source our creative projects from. Rest assured we work closely with the excellent women who create the projects that have brought you here, to curate a box full of joyful projects and accessories to help you unwind. We also reserve the right to limit how many boxes we sell—just in case you’re planning to buy 1000 kits for you and your clique. If you are planning a girls night in and want to buy in bulk for your besties, we love that! Drop us an email at hello@unwindco.com.au and we’ll hook you up.
We work hard to make sure there are enough boxes for everyone, but things do go out of stock sometimes. If you missed out, join the waitlist because we’re building new boxes all the time!
3. Show Me the Money
Prices are in AUD and can change at any time. We accept major credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. When you pay, you’re promising that it’s your card and your account.
For subscriptions, there is a 6-month commitment (that’s two boxes), to kick things off. After that, you’re free to skip a box or cancel anytime by emailing us at hello@unwindco.com.au.
From time to time, we may need to adjust our pricing slightly due to changes in supplier costs, materials, or shipping. If you're a subscriber, we’ll always give you a heads-up before any price change takes effect, and give you the opportunity to make changes to your subscription, if needed.
4. Shipping & Magical Deliveries
We ship your box on the date specified on our product page (if you have pre-ordered), or within 2-4 business days (if it’s not a pre-order). We use Australia Post for all deliveries and we will provide you with a tracking number so that you can stalk—we mean, follow—your parcel all the way home. Delivery times vary depending on your location and, occasionally, the mood of the postal gods.
5. No Love? Return It.
Didn’t fall in love with your box? No stress. You can return it within 5 business days, as long as all items in the box are in original condition.
6. Sales, Deals & Bargains
We love a cheeky discount, but most deals can’t be stacked (one coupon at a time please). We reserve the right to tweak or cancel promotions as needed… because sometimes the system gets too excited.
7. Our Creative Juju (aka IP)
All the content on our site—words, images, logos, product designs—is ours. Please don’t copy or reuse anything without asking first. Sharing is caring, but stealing isn’t cute.
8. Play Nice
Don’t do anything weird, illegal, or harmful with our site. We want everyone to have a smooth, fun experience, so no spamming, hacking, or monkeying around.
9. Oops Moments (Liability Stuff)
We do our best to deliver awesome products and a smooth experience, but we can’t promise perfection. We’re not responsible for damages or losses from using (or misusing) our products or site.
Need help with one of the projects in the box? Ask a question in the Unwind Co Facebook Group—there is a community of talented crafters who might help solve the knot you have tied in your embroidery. You can also email us hello@unwindco.com.au.
10. Keep It Fair (Indemnification)
If your actions cause us legal or financial drama (hopefully never), you agree to have our back and cover any related costs.
11. The Legal Bit
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any disputes will be handled there too. Basically, we all agree to play by the same rulebook.
12. Updates & Edits
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll post the new version here. By continuing to use the site, you’re agreeing to the updated terms, so it’s good to check in once in a while!
